Long Beach Mauritius, hotel situated on the east coast of Belle-Mare is pleased to announce that it has won the Indian Ocean’s Best Golf Hotel 2017. Long Beach was nominated along with 11 other golf hotels in Mauritius by World Golf Awards 2017.
World Golf Awards serves to celebrate and reward excellence in golf tourism, world class courses and golf destinations. The 2017 World Golf Awards strive to ultimately raise the golf tourist customer experience and stimulate both the domestic and international golf tourism market. Votes are made by professionals working within the golf travel and tourism industry. The World Golf Awards Ceremony was held the 25th November at La Manga Club, Spain and was attended by our Director of Sales & Marketing Southern Europe, Blanca Casado.

Designed by the famous Bernhard Langer, Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club is accessible to players of all levels. The course extends itself over 38 hectares on the southern half of Ile aux Cerfs with the 18 holes scattered in rolling nature. The majority of the 18 holes offer a splendid view of the legendary lagoon of Ile aux Cerfs. Designed by Ernie Els, Anahita Golf Course is a 6,828 m, 18-hole, par- 72 championship course. It has five teeing areas, large fairways and six ocean front holes and is the first in the Indian Ocean to be built to USGA (United States Golf Association) standards.
